Vote for the new Synthetix Ambassadors!
Vote for who should represent the Spartan community across other DeFi governance processes!
Votes are now open for the new Synthetix Ambassadors role! The Ambassadors is a program whereby three community-elected individuals represent the Spartan community across other DeFi governance processes.
The Ambassador election is already running over on Snapshot, where SNX stakers can vote on a nominated community member to represent them, much like the Spartan Council and grantsDAO elections. This election will run until Feb 24, 2021, 6:00 AM (UTC), after which the elected Ambassadors will be in place for the initial three month epoch. They will receive a monthly stipend from the synthetixDAO of 500 SNX each.
The idea behind the Ambassadors is that they will use a multi-sig wallet to which SNX holders can delegate their other governance tokens such as AAVE, COMP, UNI, YFI, CRV, 1INCH, MKR, etc. The Ambassadors can then enact governance actions on behalf of SNX stakers, such as Curve gauge weights, getting SNX or Synths added as collateral on lending platforms, and so on.
