What the Core Contributors have been adding across the Synthetix interfaces

Vanadinite product release

This post is another entry in our regular series in which we fill you in on all the front-end updates that Core Contributors have made across the dApps and website recently. This post represents some of the key additions made since November 2020’s Bornite product release.

Debt Hedging in Staking

We’ve added into Staking the ability to view the global debt pool (as you already could on Stats) as well as a comparison to your portfolio. This allows you to compare your Synth holdings to the total debt in the system, enabling SNX stakers to hedge more easily against the debt pool. If there is a difference of more than 10% between a staker’s holdings of an asset and its proportion of the debt pool, then that asset is highlighted in red (otherwise it’s in green). These calculations also include non-Synth similar assets for sETH and sBTC, such as ETH, wETH, wBTC, and renBTC.

Pooled categories in Staking sidebar

For easier navigation and to accommodate further categories into Staking such as governance, we’ve grouped some of the Staking tabs together.

Thanks for checking out what the front-end Core Contributors have accomplished recently. If you’ve got any front-end requests or feedback about this series, please come join the conversation in Discord.
